Academic Integrity Office

Our physical office is closed, but we are staffed virtually Monday-Friday. For specific hours of operation, view our Fall 2021 schedule below.

To schedule a VIRTUAL appointment for one-on-one advising with a peer educator, use Acuity. Our Peer Educators can help advise students in the process and give tips on excelling with integrity.

Note: Hours may be altered in the event of staffing shortages. You can reach us by email at or through our Virtual Front Desk if you have difficulty connecting.

Virtual Front Desk:

The AIO will continue to offer the majority of our services in a virtual environment, although there may be some adjustment of timelines to accommodate the evolving situation. To this end, all our appointments, scheduled and walk-in, will take place through our Virtual Front Desk, open from:

  • Monday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Tuesday, 9:30am-6:00pm
  • Wednesday, 9:00am-6:00pm
  • Thursday, 9:30am-5:30pm
  • Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm

Here is the link to the Virtual Front Desk, which also serves as the check-in for your meetings:

How to Reach the Virtual Front Desk:

To access the Virtual Front Desk, click the Zoom link above. If you have not yet installed the Zoom desktop application, you will be prompted to download it. Please install the desktop application, as you will not be able to join the meeting with video from the Zoom webpage. For more information on how to install Zoom, check out this guide on Blink.

If you have Zoom installed on your computer, clicking the Zoom link ( will prompt you to open the meeting on the Zoom desktop application. After you click 'Open Zoom', you will be placed in the virtual waiting room for the meeting. Please remain patient, as it may take several moments for you to be admitted into the Virtual Front Desk.

Once admitted, you will be assigned into a breakout room with a peer educator, where you will have your virtual appointment.

Things to Remember:

  • Make sure to click on the link to the Virtual Front Desk 5 minutes before your appointment, as you may need that time to download the application or resolve any technical difficulties.
  • If you encounter any difficulties while accessing the Virtual Front Desk, please email as soon as possible to explain your situation and we will do our best to help you resolve them.
  • Be prepared with your student ID card to verify your identity, and make sure that you have enabled both your audio and video settings. If you do not have a working webcam on your computer, you can also download Zoom on a smartphone or any other mobile device with a camera. If none of these options are available to you, please email as soon as possible. If you do not have access to a computer, please check out this campus resource on getting a loaner laptop.
  • The AIO promotes and supports a culture of integrity in order to reinforce quality teaching and learning at UC San Diego. Our staff and volunteers strive to behave in ways that are respectful, fair, trustworthy, responsible, courageous, and honest. We expect that you reciprocate these values in your interactions with our volunteers and staff.
  • We understand that this quarter may be especially stressful for students in light of the current situation with COVID-19. If you are experiencing difficulties (timezone differences, connectivity issues, etc) or have any concerns about moving through the AI process, please communicate with our office so that we may assist however we can.
