20th Anniversary Celebration

It's been 20 years (in August) since the first academic integrity professional was hired at UC San Diego, and that was the beginning of an amazing journey through making a more fair and efficient system for resolving integrity violation allegations, to shifting the campus from a punitive to an educational response to first violations, to establishing many campus initiatives to promote and support a culture of integrity, to responding to the emergency-remote teaching of the pandemic and the impact that GenAI is having on teaching and learning. 

We have several events planned for this year and we will hope you will join in the ones you can.

The first is on November 3rd (4-6 pm, Pepper Canyon Hall, Room 302)  - A Day for Integrity. The event is part reunion, part reflection: a timeline of our four eras (Foundation & Infrastructure, Expansion & Professionalization, Strategic Leadership & Crisis, and Systemic Impact & AI), a few short remarks from people (like you!) who lived them, and a chance for everyone who has shaped this work — past and present — to be in the same room together and add their voices to the success story.
